Reasons cited for remaining in one’s current country include the inability to relocate family members or partners abroad, strong emotional ties to the current country, and the costs associated with relocation.
The report also underscores that 92% of employers worldwide view attracting expatriate talent as crucial for their organizations, recognizing that multicultural work environments stimulate innovation and success.
Beyond work, Bangkok and other provinces in Thailand emerge as dream destinations for travel as well. In a related report, Agoda revealed that Thailand is the top choice for European tourists, followed by four other Asian countries including Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
