Immigration officers from the Immigration Bureau 1 have apprehended a 36-year-old Cypriot man for allegedly stalking and breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s condominium in Nakhon Pathom province. The suspect, identified as Nicholas, was detained at a hotel in the Rachathewi district of Bangkok yesterday. The Nakhon Pathom Provincial Court had issued an arrest warrant for Nicholas on charges of burglary and property damage during the night.
Reports indicate that Nicholas had been persistently stalking his ex-girlfriend by repeatedly sneaking into her condominium and waiting for her in the lobby. Additionally, it was discovered that he had tampered with the electronic door of her condominium room, further escalating the situation.

Upon his arrest, Nicholas reportedly confessed to the charges and admitted to stalking his ex-girlfriend. He briefly resisted arrest but was quickly subdued by the officers. During the search, immigration officers found a stamp from the Cyprus Consulate in Thailand in his possession, which they suspected might be counterfeit.

The stamp has been seized for further investigation.

This incident highlights the importance of vigilance and security within residential properties, as well as the need for legal measures to protect individuals from stalking and harassment. The actions of Nicholas not only breached the privacy and safety of his ex-girlfriend but also posed a significant threat to her well-being.

The authorities are now working to ensure that justice is served and that such incidents are prevented in the future.

For those experiencing similar issues, promptly reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities is crucial. Enhanced security measures, such as surveillance cameras and secure access systems, can also help prevent unauthorized entry and ensure the safety of residents.
