Earlier reports of suspicious activities prompted police intervention to maintain law and order. However, the breakdown in negotiations led to a violent confrontation. “Our initial goal was to peacefully resolve the situation, but unfortunately, it took a violent turn,” stated a police spokesperson.

The injured officers received immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital, where they are currently under observation for the extent of their injuries.

In response to the ongoing situation, authorities have secured the area and advised residents of Khok Pho district to remain indoors, report any suspicious activities, and cooperate with law enforcement. Additional reinforcements have been deployed to manage the crisis and pursue the suspect.

The incident has sparked concerns about escalating violence in the region. Police are actively investigating the motives behind the attack and whether the perpetrator acted independently or as part of a larger group, according to KhaoSod.

“We are dedicated to apprehending the perpetrator and ensuring the safety of our officers and the community,” emphasized law enforcement officials.
