Laotian monks harassed by Thai ladyboy during pilgrimage (video)
A Thai ladyboy has sparked controversy for persistently soliciting sex from two Laotian monks and one of their male followers during a pilgrimage in the central province of Nakhon Sawan.
The Laotian monk, Lin Sujitto, had visited a temple in Nakhon Si Thammarat in southern Thailand before the unwanted advances. Later, Lin and another monk, accompanied by a male follower, embarked on a pilgrimage from Nakhon Si Thammarat to Chiang Rai in the north, traveling mostly on foot at night to avoid the heat of Thailand’s summer season.
The incident occurred while they were resting at a roadside bus stop in Nakhon Sawan province on the night of March 30.
Lin recounted that the ladyboy arrived on a motorcycle and invited him and the other monk to engage in group sex with her friend. Despite their refusal, the ladyboy persisted, following them on her motorcycle and attempting to engage in sexual activity with them.
Lin shared a video of the encounter on Facebook on April 1, expressing concern about potential sexual assault.
The video quickly went viral, prompting discussions on Thai social media. Lin, in an interview, expressed gratitude for not being alone during the pilgrimage and forgave the ladyboy, urging her not to repeat such actions with other monks due to the seriousness of the offense.
Despite the ordeal, Lin remained composed and continued his journey to Chiang Rai, hoping to avoid similar incidents in the future.
Thai netizens offered humorous and supportive comments, praising Lin and the other monk for their patience and adherence to monastic rules, while condemning the ladyboy’s inappropriate behavior.
