Police seize vaping products worth 5 million baht in Lat Krabang
On July 19, police conducted a major raid on a warehouse in Lat Krabang, discovering over 60,000 illegal vaping products valued at 5 million baht. The operation led to the arrest of two suspects, with the warehouse cleverly disguised as a grocery store.
The raid was spearheaded by Police Colonel Korrawis Thongsriwanich, head of Division 1 of the Tourist Police Bureau, in collaboration with Police Colonel Somkid Pracheunsuk, head of the Lat Krabang Police Station. The team executed a search warrant issued by the Thon Buri Criminal Court, targeting a three-story commercial building in the Phutthabucha area, camouflaged as a grocery store.

Investigations revealed that the building was a significant storage site for illegal vaping products and related equipment. During the search, officers confiscated over 60,000 items, including e-cigarettes, e-liquids, and vaping accessories, with an estimated value of 5 million baht. The suspects and the seized goods were handed over to the investigation officers for further legal proceedings.
“We received credible information about the illegal storage of vaping products in this building. The operation was meticulously planned to ensure the successful confiscation of these illegal items,” stated Police Colonel Korrawis Thongsriwanich.
The illegal vaping products market has been a growing concern in Thailand, prompting police crackdowns to protect public health and ensure law enforcement. The use and sale of e-cigarettes are strictly regulated in Thailand, making this raid a significant step in curbing the illegal distribution of these items.
“This operation highlights the importance of inter-agency cooperation in tackling illegal activities. We are committed to enforcing the law and protecting public health,” added Police Colonel Korrawis Thongsriwanich.
The identities of the suspects have not been disclosed, and they now face legal action for their involvement in the illegal storage and distribution of vaping products. The investigation is ongoing, and further details may emerge as the police continue to investigate the case, reported KhaoSod.
